THE ART OF MODE 2 #2

Various paintings from around the world, although I suspect most are from France.
A mixture of commissions, joint ventures and a few night time endevours. knowhatimean?

These images have been collected from various sources, my own photo`s, friends, magazines or the internet.
Some of the jpg`s have been cleaned up if the quality was too poor. which is usually the case with Graffiti photo`s,
over or under exposed, bad joiners, strange angles or flash glare. The images have not been tampered with and
will hopefully help some way towards the history and documentation of this beautiful artform.
And, in this instance, the work of art that is Mode 2.

Toys and Kings
Neon painting for the UK mini documentary "Toys and Kings"

Created as a link into the adverts.
If you haven't seen the film, don't worry about it. It's crap.
It is the kind of film that should have come out in 1986.
There are much better documentaries out there now that
Graffiti artists are starting to make them. So keep your eyes peeled.

" Da Payback " - Detail.

Paris - 1992
This is one of my all - time favourite characters.
Check out the bombed train in the background. Cool.

Sorry if this joiners a bit poor, theres about a cm missing ,
so I hope the close up of the busty lady makes up for it.

Bush Honey Babes
Painted in Riem airport in 1994

Mural by Mode2 and Loomit. Riem Airport exterior.

I was sent these images by another graffiti artist. But I didn't know how he got hold
of them. After pissing about with the search engines (useful sometimes ) I've finally
found the source of these excellant photographs. These were taken by Neck and
are from his personal photobook. The site has a complete set of the Riem airport
peices and some nice Mode2 canvas' It's good to see a graffiti artist who can take
decent photographs. You can check out more of Mode2 in Riem by checking out
Necks pages at http://www.neckcns.com/photobook/mode2.html
